Mari Luz Cortes was a young girl, full of happiness and fun, like all children. She was in Portugal
and went out to buy a packet of crips without an adult because her mother, who was at home, was ill.
Her mother awaited her return however it never came.
Two or so months later, after frantic searching, appeals and crys, the dead body of 5-year-old Mari
Luz Cortes was found floating on a river.
The mystery still roles on over what really happened - it was said she was suffocated to death and
then thrown into the river but was also said she was alive when thrown in.
The main thing though is that Mari gets her justice and she gets remembered because she deserves to.
She was innocent. Why harm children?
